With offices based in Fortitude Valley, this hybrid opportunity requires two in office days per week, ideal for candidates living within a short commute.

 

Your New Role
As the Applications Risk Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of application support and risk management. You’ll provide hands-on technical support for business critical applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and secure access, particularly around SSO environments and service accounts. Simultaneously, you’ll lead risk assessments across digital systems, implement mitigation strategies, and align with InfoSec and compliance teams to strengthen organisational resilience.

 

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Proven experience in application support and troubleshooting
• Strong grasp of risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance
• Expertise in cloud environments and IT security best practices
• ITIL, SDLC, or Agile certifications (highly regarded)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across technical and risk domains
