Job Description

This Government department is seeking a key member for its IT transformation projects.  Multiple projects, ranging in size and complexity but all offering a challenging and interesting variety of work to add to your resume!

We are seeking a Project Management Lead who has prior experience working on large scale transformation projects, leading a team of Project managers to work with and assist them on delivering and hitting key milestones. 

You’ll perform a critical role of assessing and assisting with the establishment of new initiatives, providing assurance and managing and mentoring the Project Managers. This will include assessing projects in trouble and assisting the Project Managers develop appropriate remediation plans.

Seeking previous experience delivering key transformation projects with significant technology components, ideally you’ll have worked within a government department previously.

This role is an initial contract till 30/06/2026 with extension opportunities, a mix of working in the office (CBD) and working from home.
