The opportunity

Based on the north side of Brisbane, I’m working with one of Queenslands top employers on a 12 month contract opportunity for an experienced Oracle and SQL DBA to join an established team with the likelihood of further extensions.

Working on cloud strategy and Database capabilities, you will be required to provide Database and Administration support for Oracle and SQL Server databases, application development and projects.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced DBA with extensive commercial experience in the below technologies;

• Provide expertise for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Exadata related services including Oracle Data Guard, RAC, TDE.
• Administer AWS RDS database services including PostgreSQL.
• Maintain process automation, scripting on Linux/Windows environments as well as PLSQL/TSQL.
• Investigate incidents (including performance and security issues).
• Perform DB data extracts, reorgs, refreshes, backups and restores.
• Support and use management tools for ORACLE, including Cloud Control with (Tuning, Diagnostics and Lifecycle Management packs), Quest TOAD, ORACLE SQL Developer.
• Support and use management tools for SQL Server, including SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
