About the Role

As a Senior Application Developer, you will play a key part in delivering a new and innovative website that empowers Queenslanders to make informed training and career decisions. You will bring technical expertise in Microsoft Dataverse and backend integration to design, develop, and support efficient, data-focused solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business requirements and design practical solutions.
  • Manage and resolve technical challenges while prioritising customer service.
  • Lead end-to-end software development processes, from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Proactively support ICT systems, including incident resolution and feature enhancements.
  • Maintain and develop clear documentation, standards, and processes.

Youll join a small, collaborative digital innovations team that values creative problem-solving, open communication, and challenging the status quo.

 

What Youll Require

We are looking for a motivated professional with:

  • Microsoft Dataverse expertise: data modelling, APIs/OData, integration with Power Platform, and security/permissions management.
  • Backend and integration skills: strong experience with RESTful APIs, scripting (e.g., JavaScript), and connecting CMS to Dataverse.
  • Data handling & optimisation: ability to clean, normalise, and optimise data for web presentation and performance.
  • Database knowledge: proficiency in SQL and relational database design for integration and optimisation.
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively, solve complex challenges, and deliver innovative solutions.
